Service Description: Develops individualized exercise programs aimed at improving cardiovascular function, muscular strength and endurance as well as range of motion that may have been lost as a result of cancer treatment

The program provides safe, private, small group, one hour exercise sessions twice a week over the 12 week period * appropriate for everyone regardless of fitness level or diagnosis, tailoring each program to the individual's specific health needs

Fees: Set fees
Application: Ask your oncologist or oncology nurse for a referral
Eligibility / Target Population: People currently undergoing or recently recovering from chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy or have just started hormonal therapy treatments or who recently had surgery as their only form of treatment

UW WELL-FIT is a unique small group exercise program for individuals currently undergoing treatment for various cancers. The 12 week exercise program aims to minimize the negative side effects that individuals experience with cancer treatments, and improve quality of life for patients.
